After retiring, I found myself with the time and the means to travel. That led to me planning a trip to a land I had always wanted to visit. Unfortunately, things did not go as well as expected. While the flight and hotel arrangements were fine, I made the mistake of not arranging for a tour guide. Since that time, I've always located a local guide who could show me all the best places to visit whenever I'm going to an unfamiliar place.
